COOPERATIVE ACTIVITIES

A cooperative activity is defined as one in which the school shares directly in the proceeds usually with an outside group. Examples of cooperative activities include, but are not limited to, school pictures, annuals, vending machines, concession stands.

Prior to the commencement of a cooperative activity, a written agreement concerning each party's responsibilities and the division of expenses and profits must be made between the outside group and the school.

If profits are collected by the outside group/vendor, the principal or principal's designated school employee must verify that the division of the collections was based on the written agreement.
