FRINGE BENEFITS

To provide adequate input and communication pertaining to active and retired employee fringe benefits, there will be an advisory committee comprised of the following employee groups:
  1. SCEA President or Designee (1)
  2. Teacher/Librarian/Counselor Representatives (2) – Appointed by Superintendent
  3. Bus Driver Representative (1) – Appointed by Director of Transportation
  4. Principal/Assistant Principal Representative (1) – Appointed by Chief Financial Officer
  5. School Secretary/Clerical/Education Assistant Representative (1) – Appointed by Chief Financial Officer
  6. School Nutrition Representative (1) – Appointed by Director of School Nutrition
  7. Maintenance/Operation Representative (1) – Appointed by Director of Facilities Services
  8. Human Resource Representative (1) – Appointed by Superintendent
  9. Chief Financial Officer or Designee (1)
  10. Retiree Representative (1) – Appointed by Superintendent

 

The Risk Manager and Employee Benefits Specialist will serve as advisory members along with any needed benefits consultant.

The committee will review any changes, additions, or deletions to the fringe benefit plans and make recommendations to the Superintendent.
