The Board recognizes its responsibility to protect the health of its employees as well as to uphold their individual rights.
All employees shall present a doctor's statement of health on forms provided by
the Human Resource Department upon initial employment.1 This
health statement must include a certificate of freedom from infectious tuberculosis.
Certificates and examinations will be required thereafter at intervals determined
by the State Department of Public Health and approved by the State Commissioner
of Education.
Bus drivers are required to have an annual physical examination.
