RETENTION, AWARD OF TENURE, SUSPENSION, AND DISMISSAL OF CERTIFICATED EMPLOYEES


The Shelby County Board of Education utilizes the reasons and abides by the procedures as defined in the Comprehensive Education Reform Act, 1984, the Education Improvement Act of 1992, and the Tennessee Teacher Tenure Law for purposes of retention, award of tenure, suspension, and dismissal of certificated employees.1
