COMPENSATION - SCHOOL LEVEL EMPLOYEES




ENROLLMENT CHANGES
Salaries based on student membership will be determined based upon the first twenty (20) day membership of the new school year. Salaries will not be frozen due to a decrease in student enrollment. Any salary adjustment whether due to an increase or decrease in student membership will be prorated for the remainder of the fiscal year.

REASSIGNMENTS
Personnel, who request a voluntary reassignment, will be placed on the step of the salary schedule commensurate with that position. If the employee’s new salary is equal to or less than their current salary, then the employee will be placed on the next higher step within the salary schedule for that position.

Personnel who are involuntarily reassigned shall retain their current salary and months worked for one fiscal year. At the end of the fiscal year, the salary shall be adjusted to reflect the salary for the position held.

PROMOTIONS
If an employee is promoted to a new position during the fiscal year, and the employee’s new salary is equal to their current salary, then the employee will be placed on the next higher step within that position’s salary schedule.

A step increase will not occur the following fiscal year unless the promotion was on or before January 1.
