The following procedure shall be adhered to in the requesting and granting of leave for service as a member of a Southern Association of Colleges and Schools' evaluation or review committee.

1. The superintendent or his designee will receive requests for service on a Southern Association committee from the requesting system.


2. Authorization for such service will be made by the superintendent or his designee.


3. The professional member chosen will be notified by the superintendent or his designee of the request for service.


4. The professional member has the right to reject service on the committee by notifying the superintendent or his designee in writing.
