The 9-12 Shelby County Schools Science Curriculum Guide was developed by a committee comprised of Shelby County Schools classroom teachers. The guide was developed using the Tennessee Science Curriculum Standards approved by the Tennessee State Department of Education August 31, 2001.

The guide is designed for Shelby County Schools teachers to use in implementing a science program that prepares students to meet, if not exceed, the state standards and prepares students for the Tennessee Gateway and End of Course Exams.
