Responsibilities:
- Serves as an instructional leader in developing and implementing appropriate
curriculum in career and technical education.
- Provides assistance to all professional
personnel and/or community and business representatives regarding career
and technical education programs.
- Assists in planning and conducting professional
growth program, workshops, and other inservice activities in career and technical
education.
- Assists with an ongoing orientation of new teachers in the areas
of career and technical instruction.
- Assists teachers in the development
of effective instruction and assessment techniques.
- Assists teachers, principals,
and other personnel with the selection and utilization of instructional material,
equipment and textbooks.
- Assists the Research and Planning department in identifying
student needs and establishing program goals.
- Assists as needed in gathering
information and preparing reports required by State, Federal or other agencies
involved in regulation of funding.
- Serves as a liaison between the Department
of Instruction and the principal in the area of curriculum and instruction.
