Where Did We Begin?

Crosswind opened August 1993 with Grades K-2 sharing space at Collierville Elementary and Grades 3-4 sharing space at Collierville Middle. We celebrate our new school's birthday on the first of November each year to commemorate the first day we had classes in our new building.


Where Is Our School Located?

Crosswind is located in the southeastern quadrant of Shelby County, Tennessee. The school facility lies within the town limits of Collierville, an area of tremendous growth and development.


What Is Our School Structure Like?

Our facility contains self-contained classrooms for Grades Kindergarten through Five. We are proud to afford our students a fully equipped library with computerized circulation, art room with kiln, sound proof music room, science lab, technological computer center, cafetorium with stage and a gymnasium. The entire school is air-conditioned
with Internet accessibility for all classes.

What is Our School Profile?

Approximately 750 students are enrolled. Students are assigned by the Principal to thirty-seven(37) classroom teachers who are responsible for instruction of academic subjects. Our eighteen(18) support teachers provide instruction for all students in Music, Art, Library Skills, Physical Education, Speech, APEX(gifted program), Resource, and Physical and Occupational Therapy.
