Welcome to Dogwood Elementary School.  We are a Kindergarten through fifth grade elementary school located in the heart of Germantown, Tennessee.

    Dogwood Elementary has earned the Parent Involvement Schools of Excellence Certification for it's outstanding parent involvement.  This year we will celebrate thirty years of excellence.

    Our mission is to ensure students can and will communicate and solve problems, meet all NCLB benchmarks, and demonstrate effective citizenship and social skills.

    We boast a very strong instructional program, earning all A's on our state report card.  Our attendance rate is 97.1 and the teacher turnover rate is very low.

    Our most recent SACS/CASI visit resulted in the attainment of exemplary status.  Our school

improvement plans focus on increasing instructional time, increasing academic gains, and the implementation of a school wide  writing program.

    We are proud of our students and our community.  Our PTA is outstanding.
