We would like to recognize the outstanding achievement, conduct, and atendance of our Lakeland students, and teachers at our school have come up with the following criterion to be used in determining awards. Students in Preschool through Fifth Grade will be eligible for citizenship and perfect attendance awards. Students in Grades 1-5 will participate in Principal's Honor Roll and Honor Roll. Preschoolers and Expanded Resource students may also receive Honors when the teacher feels all skills have been mastered at a level which should be recognized.
The criteria are as follows:
Principal's Honor Roll - All As or Es in
academics
E, G, S in MAPs, Conduct, and Handwriting
Honor Roll - at least 3 As, the rest Bs in
academics (Es in lower grades)
E, G, S in MAPs, Conduct, and Handwriting, SPED - Mastered all
skills
Citizenship - All Es in Conduct
Perfect Attendance - No absences,
tardies, or early departures for the whole 9 weeks
HAT Kids - Here All the Time - These students get to wear a hat all
day on the
designated HAT DAY in recognition of their perfect attendance.
