Honor Roll Criteria

We would like to recognize the outstanding achievement, conduct, and atendance of our Lakeland students, and teachers at our school have come up with the following criterion to be used in determining awards. Students in Preschool through Fifth Grade will be eligible for citizenship and perfect attendance awards. Students in Grades 1-5 will participate in Principal's Honor Roll and Honor Roll. Preschoolers and Expanded Resource students may also receive Honors when the teacher feels all skills have been mastered at a level which should be recognized.

The criteria are as follows:

Principal's Honor Roll - All As and Es in academics
including MAPS and Conduct. Nothing lower than an S in Handwriting.

Honor Roll - No more than 2 Bs and/or G's including MAPS and Conduct. Nothing lower than an S in Handwriting.

Citizenship - All Es in Conduct

Perfect Attendance - No absences, tardies, or early departures for the whole 9 weeks even on inclement weather days.

Kindergarten and First Grade- Citizenship and perfect attendance will be awarded in the classroom each nine weeks. They will not participate in honor roll this school year.
