Mrs. Regina Payne
Principal
Mrs. Payne has been with Shelby County Schools for 17 years.
Mrs. Payne is a graduate of Ridgeway High School, The University of Memphis, and Union University. Before becoming an administrator she spent eight years teaching grades 1-3 and 3 years as a curriculum technology specialist.
It is her goal at Lucy Elementary to build a positive relationship between our families and our school, so that all students may reach their potential.
Mrs. Payne hopes to build positive relationships between families and the school and help the children reach their potentials. She describes her leadership style as fair, but flexible.
Mrs. Betty Ticer
Assistant Principal
Mrs. Ticer has been the Assistant Principal at Lucy Elementary School for 7 years. Before coming to Lucy, Mrs. Ticer taught grades K - 5 for 20 years. She graduated with her Bachelor's Degree from Georgian Court College in Lakewood, NJ. and a Master's Degree from the University of Memphis.
Mrs. Ticer LOVES Lucy Elementary School and looks forward to working with all the wonderful students, teachers, and parents each school year.
