Our mission is to provide all students with an educational program which promotes the academic proficiency to think critically, solve problems and communicate effectively in a changing society.
Millington Elementary School opened in August, 2004 to replace Millington East and Millington South Elementary Schools with a projected enrollment of approximately 829 students in grades K-5. The one-story school building has the capacity for 1,000 students with sixty-four (64) teaching stations which include: a computer lab, a learning center, art and music classrooms, plus a gymnasium. Eight (8) classrooms are provided for students with special needs. A school-wide computer data network is provided. Every instructional space has internet access.
The library and administrative offices are located in the center of the building to provide easy access for students and parents. The library has an internet research station and utilize a computer based check-out/check-in system. The cafetorium includes a platform area for programs and performances. Passenger car and bus traffic is separated on the campus for safety.
School hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
