Rivercrest’s Kelly Kramer Shares Creative Lessons with Educators Everywhere

Ms. Kelly Kramer, a Kindergarten teacher at Rivercrest Elementary, is gaining recognition in classrooms across the country by way of “Mailbox” magazine. The popular teacher-friendly publication featured her creative Thanksgiving lesson, “Little Turkey Art Project,” in its October/November 2008 issue. Students had a great time completing the colorful fingerprint projects last week. Ms. Kramer says she has some new lessons that will soon appear in upcoming issues of “Mailbox” magazine as well.

I’m nominating Shelby Mitchell for AutoZone Make the Grade.  Shelby is a third grader at Rivercrest Elementary School.  She is a hard worker and a dedicated athlete.  Shelby is involved in multiple sports and still maintains straight A’s in school.  She is a dependable student.  I can count on her to show Redbird spirit each day of the week.  She is kind others and shows respect to faculty and staff.  I’m so proud of her!  She truly is a high achieving student!
