Shelby County Schools will pre-register kindergarten students for the                                                    2009-2010 school year.  They can pre-register at their neighborhood elementary school the week of April 6-April 9, 2009 during regular school hours.

Children must be five (5) years old on or before September 30, 2009 to qualify for kindergarten for the 2009-2010 school term.  No documents will be accepted at pre-registration.

Documents to be accepted at Registration on August 4th are:

        2 proofs of resident

        Birth Certificate (certified copy)

        Proof of medical examination

        Tennessee Child Health/Immunization Records (green form) or a

            temporary TN certificate of immunization

        Social Security Number
