The Wildcat yearbook is an award winning publication of Bolton High.
In the past two years, the prestigious award of FIRST PLACE has been earned through the American Scholastic Press Association judging contest.
Additionally, the book has been chosen as Taylor Publishing's 2005-2006 Yearbook-Yearbook Semi-Finalist.
The 2007 edition was published in full color, a first in the history of Bolton High School.

Purpose:
The purpose of the annual publication is to record the significant events of the school year while learning journalism techniques. The staff meets as classes during fifth and sixth periods. The fifth period class puts together all of the yearbook except the senior tributes, which the sixth period class puts together.

Requirements: The students are hand-selected by Mrs. Young. In February of each year, the students interested in being on staff for the following school year fill out an application. These are made available outside Mrs. Young's room, E-135. Students' attendance, GPA, recommendations, attitude, and other school commitments are taken into consideration.

Sponsor: Mrs. Dianne Young, who has served in the capacity of a yearbook advisor for ten years both at Bolton High and Cordova High, has attended the National Advisors' Workshop in Dallas, Texas. Additionally she sponsors Bolton's newspaper, the Paw Print, and teaches honors British literature.
