Appling Career Day

We are extending an invitation to business and professional leaders to meet with our students to introduce them to various occupations. This experience will give students an opportunity to inquire about various jobs, and most importantly, your own personal insights into your occupation. As you know, there is nothing like hearing it from the source.

Bringing a Career Fair to Appling, Friday, May 16 from 8:30 – 11:00 AM will allow the various businesses to show their expertise. As well as allow students to be selective and informed in making career choices. People with a variety of professional experiences are invited to share their careers with our students. We suggest that you bring any handouts, pictures, tools of your trade, etc., that might better enhance understanding of your profession.

It is never too early to start preparing for the world of work. We want our students at Appling to be prepared whether they decide to attend a technical school, two-year program of study, or a four-year program of study. 

We are confident that our students will enjoy listening to you. Hopefully, you will find the experience to be a rewarding one. Can we count on you to join us in making this a dynamic event for the students of Appling? Please notify us of your intentions by May 2.
