| The 6th grade band
members are preparing music for the Spring Concert.
The afternoon beginning band concert begins at 1:45 and the morning beginning
band begins at 4:00. Tickets will be $5. Students
in the 6th grade will wear nice dress clothes for the Concert. Boys will
wear shirt and tie. The
7th Grade performs at the 1:45 Concert and the 8th Grade performs at the
3:45 Concert. Dr. Bobby Webb, Superintendent, will direct on the 8th Grade
Concert. |

to those who have paid the $100 Band Participation Fee. |
| The 8th grade band performed
for the City of Arlington on Sunday, November 11th at 3:00. Musical Selections
included : The National Anthem, You're A Grand Old Flag, Purple Heart, Marches
of the Armed Forces and God Bless America. Scroll

performed for the AMS Faculty on Thursday, November 8th. Thank you for an
outstanding performance. |
| 7th and 8th grade band members
participated in the All West TN auditions in Jackson, TN on December 8th.
Arlington Middle School ranked 1st in West TN with the most students selected.
Forty-six students from AMS will perform at the Canon Performing Arts Center
on February 2, 2008. |

School Year. Make checks out to AMS Band Boosters.

the student name on the bottom of the check.

to practice at home for 30 minutes every day and private lessons are
recommended for all students. |
