General Music Supply List

1 folder with pockets and brads *SEE ASSIGNED GRADE LEVEL COLORS *  (6th graders:  yellow folder, 7th graders:  red/pink folder, 8th graders:  green folder)
4 Number 2 pencils
1 black, fine point pen
1 pack of dry-erase markers, 2 or 4 count (broad point) - **SEE ASSIGNED GRADE LEVEL COLORS ** (6th graders:  black dry-erase markers, 7th graders: blue dry-erase markers, 8th graders:  green dry-erase markers.)  If you cannot find a pack of single colored markers, you may simply send a pack of multi-color dry erase markers and I will trade out the colors with the other classes.
1 package of wide-ruled paper
1 package of page protectors (minimum 25)
1 box of baby wipes (for use on dry erase boards)
1 box of tissues
1 soprano recorder (You can purchase the recorder later in the year through the school book store.)



Choir or Vocal Music Supply List

1 box of baby wipes (for use on dry erase boards)
1 box of tissues
2 blank CD’s
1 long-sleeved white dress shirt
1 pair of black dress slacks
1 pair of black dress socks
1 pair of black dress shoes
1 pair of medium shade blue jeans
1 choir t-shirt  (t-shirt available for purchase in the fall)

Band or Instrumental Music Supply List

4 Number 2 pencils
1 black 3-ring notebook
Sheet protectors for notebook and concert music (minimum 25 pages)
1 box of tissues
Assigned instrument and instrument case with the student’s name clearly labeled on the outside at all times
Applicable instrument accessories - extra Vandoren reeds (for all reed
instruments), cleaning supplies, neckstrap (for saxophones), reedsavers (to protect the reeds), etc.  *PLEASE NOTE:   All Woodwind players using reeds must play on Vandoren Reeds this year.*
Spit rag (old towel or washcloth)
Assigned instrument book for your grade AND instrument *SEE ASSIGNED
BOOKS BELOW*  
6th grade:  Standard of Excellence Book 1 (red book for your instrument)
7th grade beginning band: Standard of Excellence Book 1 (red book for your instrument)
7th grade returning band members: Standard of Excellence Book 1 (reuse last year’s to finish the book and then we will immediately use the next book)
Standard of Excellence Book 2 (blue book for your instrument)
 8th grade:  Book to be announced at the beginning of the school year
1 band t-shirt (t-shirt will be ordered and distributed when band fees are paid in Sept./Oct.)

More information or details will come about band fees, uniforms, gloves, hats, band shoes, performance attire, etc., during the first semester. (Uniform accessories/needs will be purchased or checked-out through the band booster organization during the first semester.)
