TNReady Update

The Tennessee Department of Education informed us that they have terminated their contract with the Measurement, Inc., due to the company’s inability to meet test delivery deadlines. As a result, they are suspending TNReady Part II testing for grades 3-8 which was originally scheduled to begin May 2.

The State has given districts statewide the option to continue testing in schools if they have their materials for Grades 3-8. To be fair and consistent, SCS will not test any student in Grades 3-8 as not to delay periods further. Performance for neither the students nor the District will be impacted as a result of missing Part II testing.

We appreciate your patience during this tumultuous testing period as well as the countless hours our teachers spent preparing our students for the assessment.
