PTA Fundraiser

Our PTA fundraising project is in its final stages. On August 13th each child received a packet related to the project. The original turn-in date was for Wednesday, August 25. In honor of requests from several parents, our PTA has extended the fundraising drive until Monday, August 30th. Students may turn in their orders and money beginning August 25th, Wednesday. All orders must be turned in by Monday, August 30th. Please double check your order forms to be sure everything is properly completed. Thanks to all who have helped our PTA and our school.

Internet Safety

i-SAFE Inc. is the worldwide leader in Internet safety education. Founded in 1998 and endorsed by the U.S. Congress, i-SAFE is a non-profit foundation dedicated to protecting the online experiences of youth everywhere. i-SAFE incorporates classroom curriculum with dynamic community outreach to empower students, teachers, parents, law enforcement, and concerned adults to make the Internet a safer place.

In Net Cetera: Chatting With Kids About Being Online, OnGuard Online gives adults practical tips to help kids navigate the online world. Kids and parents have many ways of socializing and communicating online, but they come with certain risks.  This guide encourages parents to reduce the risks by talking to kids about how they communicate – online and off – and helping kids engage in conduct they can be proud of.  Net Cetera covers what parents need to know, where to go for more information, and issues to raise with kids about living their lives online.
