Our Mission

The mission of Shadowlawn Middle School is to ensure that each student has the opportunity to achieve at least a year’s growth in each academic area, to become proficient in each academic area, and to learn to make the decisions necessary to demonstrate responsible citizenship in our society.

Our Beliefs

1. Each student is a unique individual capable of learning and achieving in a supportive, safe and orderly environment.
2. A safe and effective learning environment is the responsibility of students, parents, teachers, administrators, and community members.
3. A variety of assessment tools are essential in accurately evaluating student performance and creating effective and meaningful instructional plans.
4. Effective adherence to and enforcement of established rules, guidelines, procedures, and policies will help to ensure student success.
5. Input from all stakeholders is vital in the decision-making processes for Shadowlawn Middle School.
