Verification of Accessibility

Many software programs can check for levels of accessibility on your web pages. There are also many online services for verifying acceptable levels of accessibility.

You can download a free copy of Bobby (developed by the Center for Applied Special Technology, CAST) at the following URL - http://www.cast.org/Bobby/DownloadBobby316.cfm. They also provide free online evaluation if you direct them to the URL of the Web site.

Another helpful evaluation tool is WAVE (developed by Pennsylvania's Initiative on Assistive Technology, PIAT). You do not download WAVE. Simply submit a URL at the WAVE Web Site http://www.temple.edu/inst_disabilities/piat/wave/yindex.html to view a report of your Web site's accessibility level.
