Presentation Guidelines

"Around the World in Eighty Days"

The following are guidelines to be used in preparing the presentation. Hyper Studio or PowerPoint may be used as the authoring tool. This presentation is a group project.

• Title card with graphic(s) - graphics should be appropriate to the subject of the presentation
• A map showing the land-sea route taken by Phileas Fogg between the two cities you have chosen.
  • This map should have a clear explanation of what it is and should contain the land-sea distance.
  • The route should be visually indicated.
• A map showing the air route between the two cities
  • This map should have a clear explanation of what it is and should contain the air distance.
  • The route should be be visually indicated.
  • Findings
  • The difference of distance should be shown.
  • The percentage of increase of or decrease represented.
  • A logical and clear explanation of why there is a difference.
• Creative cards - no more than four
  • Explain which mode of transportation that you prefer.
  • Give three reasons why
  • Interesting information about the two cities
