Frontline-Hayes Inventory Management System
The new Frontline-Hayes Asset Management System (FAMS) to enable the District to track the complete life cycle of each asset from acquisition to retirement. The system will ensure stewardship, accuracy and efficiency for all administrators, teachers, students, Central Office staff and external stakeholders.
BENEFITS OF AN INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Stewardship: Ensure personnel are accountable for assets/equipment within their immediate area of responsibility through professional development, internal communications, and support.
Accuracy: Complete a wall-to-wall physical inventory and regular cycle counts that will establish a data tracking baseline for each fixed asset, ensure integrity, control redundancy, and secure accurate data.
Efficiency: Develop and maintain data-driven operational procedures and timelines in collaboration with schools, key department staff, and external stakeholders.
