Career Ready! Summer Internship Program

Who: Current Traditional Shelby County Schools Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors (16 years of age or older by June 3, 2019) are invited to apply
What: 2019 Career Ready! Summer Internship Program
When: June 3, 2019 – July 12, 2019
Why: Summer internships provide students with authentic experiences that will be invaluable to their high school, college, and/or career paths
To be considered for a 2019 Career Ready! Summer Internship, students are required to have a 2018-19 GPA of 2.0 or above, a 95% or higher attendance rate, and at least satisfactory conduct (maximum of 2 N’s and no U’s) as of March 28, 2019. Interested Shelby County Schools’ students should complete the attached application, print and mail or hand deliver to Ms. Erma Carter or Ms. Bianca Bryant, 160 S. Hollywood, Room 261, Memphis, TN 38112, along with:
two completed recommendation forms
a copy of your current resume
a copy of your current report card
a copy of your current transcript
a copy of your non-expired driver’s license or state I.D.
a copy of your Social Security Card
a copy of your birth certificate
a copy of your non-expired insurance card
The deadline for returning application with ALL attachments is Friday, January 11, 2019. Late applications with all attachments will only be considered if space is available. Incomplete applications will NOT be considered.
