What: 2018 Career Ready! Summer Internship Program

When: June 4, 2018 – July 13, 2018

Why: These summer internships provide students with authentic experiences that will be invaluable to their high school, college, and/or career paths

To be considered for a 2018 Career Ready! Summer Internship, students are required to have a minimum 2017-18 GPA of 2.0, a 90% or higher attendance rate, and at least satisfactory conduct (maximum of 2 N’s and no U’s) as of March 28, 2018. Interested Shelby County Schools’ students should complete the attached application, print and mail or hand deliver to Erma Carter, 160 S. Hollywood, Room 261, Memphis, TN 38112, along with:

• two letters of recommendation
• a current resume
• a current report card or transcript
• a non-expired copy of driver’s license or state ID
• a copy of Social Security Card

Students will not be considered for an internship if any of the above items are missing or incomplete.

The deadline for returning application with all attachments is Friday, December 1, 2017. No late or incomplete applications will be considered.
