Shelby County Schools and the Shelby County Health Department are partnering to host the 2018 World AIDS Day press conference on Friday, December 1 at Melrose High School. The annual event aims to increase awareness about AIDS in the local community and how to access helpful resources to prevent the disease. The press conference takes place 1-2:15 p.m.

Earlier this month, the District's Coordinated School Health Department teamed up with the Health Department to offer free AIDS testing for students at multiple locations aound the city.
