Memphis, Tenn. – Peyton Cook, a junior at Cordova High School, and Sara Kang, an eighth grader at Houston Middle School, have been selected to perform in the 2013 Germantown Symphony Orchestra’s (GSO) Young Artists Concert. Cook, a violinist, and Kang, a flutist, will perform with student winners of the GSO’s 2013 Concerto Competition. These students will take the stage under the direction of Dr. Ronald Vernon, Professor of Music Emeritus at the University of Mississippi, and perform with the GSO.

The GSO Young Artists Concert is Saturday, November 2 at 8 p.m. at the Germantown Performing Arts Center.
