Shelby County School Board members approved a resolution during the August 22 Work Session, reaffirming the District's commitment to ensuring ALL schools remain safe and welcoming places for ALL students and families, regardless of immigration status. 

This resolution encourages increased and enhanced partnerships with community organizations who can provide resources and support for families impacted by immigration enforcement actions and ensures student privacy will be protected.
