The SCS Nutrition Services Department helps feed thousands of children every summer by providing free meals and snacks to local youth summer programs through the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). Food is available for school-based and non-school-based programs/activities that serve youth, age 18 and under.

The Summer Food Service Program starts May 30 and runs through July 27. All participating schools and locations must be approved by the Tennessee Department of Human Services, which includes having a representative attend one (1) mandatory training sessions provided by Nutrition Services.
