Learning isn’t always confined to the four walls of a classroom. This summer, nearly 300 elementary students have tried their hands at flag football, soccer, tennis, dance and golf during our Sports Skill Development Camp. During the summer, it’s easy trade library books for TV remotes, but under the watchful eye of some of our dedicated PE teachers, these students are staying active and learning how to make healthy decisions. This year’s camp hasn’t been limited to helping students become elite athletes; students have developed skills to become elite teammates and leaders in their classrooms when school starts in August.
