Nutrition Education

Nutrition Services Dietitians provide Memphis-Shelby County Schools teachers and students with nutrition education opportunities to build good dietary habits among Memphis-Shelby County youth. Balance, moderation, and variety are the keys to healthier eating, and nutrition education lessons help to empower children to make smart food choices for a healthy diet – and provide tools that parents and community organizations can use to emphasize proper diet and exercise for the maintenance of healthy weight. Nutrition Services provides daily nutritional catering services for pre-school day care, school age and summer lunch programs throughout the Mid-South. Our service features:
