• Purpose: To gain better insight into latest strategies, techniques and technologies used to conserve energy in commercial facilities.
• Energy Conservation Industry Day format will be presentation given by participants to a panel of stakeholders (Facilities Mgt, Finance, Procurement, Custodial, Academic Ops, MLGW/TVA)
• Each participant will be assigned a 55 minute time slot:
  • 5 minutes for presentation setup
  • 40 minutes for presentation
  • 10 minutes for Q & A
• RFQ/RFP to be released mid-to late-April following review of Industry Day info regarding vendor capabilities & competencies

Background

• Shelby County Schools (SCS will be hosting information reviews for the energy conservation industry. The purpose of these meetings is to obtain information form the energy conservation community regarding best practices, strategies, techniques and technologies that may help SCS reduce energy costs and carbon footprint
• These meetings are for market research information only, no award will be offered
• SCS is located in Memphis Tennessee and is one of Americia's top 25 largest school districts
• SCS is interested in obtaining information from vendors who have experience in energy conservation for K-12 facilities, commercial buildings and similar environments
• Meetings will be held March 27-28; please contact Helen White ([email protected]) if you wish to attend. Meeting agendas will follow, vendors are asked to limit participants to 3 team members
