  • CollegeView - CollegeView sponsors a free online database of over 3,000 two and four year schools.
  • ECampus Tours - Ready to begin your college planning? eCampusTours.com is a revolutionary college planning web site featuring 360° x 360° virtual campus tours of over 1200 college campuses. Each campus tour allows you to see what college life is really like through unique panoramic photographs. If you like what you see in the virtual campus tour, you can search the college website, contact the college's admission office, or save the virtual college tour in your eCampusTours portfolio.
  • How Stuff Works: College Admission - This is a good site to begin with when researching college admissions. Includes sections on selecting a college, SAT scores, minority students, when to apply, and more.
  • U.S. News Education Home Page - U.S. News magazine equips this site with information on colleges, community colleges, graduate schools, careers, and financial aid.

  • ACT Resources - Provides links to various web sites to help you prepare for the ACT.
  • ACT Student - Find test dates, test center codes, test fees and register online. Includes sample tests, test tips, test descriptions, and information about colleges and financial choices.
  • ACT PLAN - Taking PLAN® as a 10th grader is a great way to prepare for the ACT—and helps you get ready to succeed in college and beyond!
  • Collegeboard.com - Students can register and practice for the SAT, identify and search for college information, apply to college online, learn about the costs of higher education, and much more.
  • Internet4Classrooms - ACT / SAT - links to a variety of sites geared toward helping you prepare for the  ACT and SAT tests.
  • March2Success - provides materials to help improve scores on standardized test such as SAT, ACT, state exit exams, and ASVAB.  Selection of content includes course material from middle and high school level lessons, SAT and ACT practice tests, an SAT/ACT preparation game, and vocabulary and math flashcards.

  • SAT Test Prep - free online SAT Prep incorporates a catalog of over 100 math, reading, and writing study guides, 5000 SAT vocabulary flash cards, and SAT practice tests.

    • Virtual Nerd - Pearson’s new math tutorial site now includes its own app, which will let students access 1,500+ videos. It will also be available in the app store later this fall. Free for iPad.

    • Stanford Math - All SCS students have access to Stanford Math, a tutorial program geared to help students succeed on the Gateway Algebra Exam.  Students should have been given a user name and a password by their math teacher.  The program can be accessed from any computer connected to the internet.
