Shelby County Schools

Parents and Guardians,

It is indeed an honor to serve the students and families at Evans Elementary School. I am so excited about a new year of learning for our students. We will celebrate achievement and student efforts this year. We will provide a positive learning environment that promotes student learning and achievement. Our goals to develop a love for reading, a zeal for learning and reaching the standards set forth by the state of Tennessee will become a reality when we all work together.

The educators at Evans Elementary will encourage students to work up to their potential by providing rigorous assignments that require students to think critically and creatively. There is a direct link between parental involvement and student achievement and with your support and encouragement our students will thrive.

If you ever require my assistance I am always available. I have an open door policy, which means I will always take the time to meet with you.  Please feel free to call and discuss any concerns.  The needs and well being of our students is of utmost importance.
