Title I PLC

I want to warmly welcome you to the 2017-2018 school year.  As the Principal of Hawkins Mill, it is my sincere honor and pleasure to be able to assist everyone in making this the best year ever.  Hawkins Mill is a school that has a long tradition that is based on strong community connections, caring staff, and collaboration.  As the Principal, I will be building upon these strengths with a genuine commitmeent to hard work, critical thinking development and enhanced communication skills for our students.

At Hawkins Mill Elementary School, we are committed to creating and maintaining an orderly, trusting and caring environment where teaching and learning is exciting and students are assisted as they develop into lifelong learners.  It is my desire to provide expanded opportunities for our students to acquire the skills needed to become productive citizens in our vastly changing global society.  Through a joint effort of all stakeholders associated with Hawkins Mill Elementary School, I am hopeful that we can create a learning institution that will change destinies and help our students learn and grow.  At Hawkins Mill, T.E.A.M. means "Together Everyone Achieves More".  Therefore, I truly look forward to this partnership and what this school year will offer.

Respectfully,

Antonio T. Harvey
