Co & Extracurricular Activities

Hollis F. Price Middle College students are able to participate in many of the approved and available high school and college organizations and activities. Students who participate must abide by the district and college guidelines specifically designed for each particular organization.  Students engage in organized interaction with the college students and are guided by sanctions that support each organization.

Qualified students are eligible to participate with the Memphis Prep, Memphis Challenge, Memphis Junior Challenge, and Tennessee Governors School academic programs. Hollis F. Price Middle College also has a chapter with the National Honor Society.

There are other traditional high school organizations available such as: Student Government Association, Peer Mediators, and Student Discipline Council, Student Ambassadors and Campus Host. Students also have the option to participate in a school sponsered club.

Some of the LeMoyne-Owen College organizations available are: Gospel Choir, LeMoyne-Owen College Newsmagazine, Drama Club, Poetry Club, Cheerleading, and Jazz Ensemble.

As an Early College associated with the Middle College National Consortium, students can also  attend the Annual Middle College National Student Leadership Conference, held in various cities throughout  the country.

Hollis F. Price Middle College is in a formal collaborative sports agreement with Middle College High School @ Christian Brothers University.  Students still must adhere to all Hollis F. Price academic expectations and requirements.
