Adopters

Hope Academy is proud to welcome as one of our adopters; Mt. Joyner M. B. Church where the Pastor is Dr. L. Taylor. The assistant Pastor Keith Williams has made several visits to Hope Academy speaking to our youth during Wednesday’s Words of Wisdom. We also have a Mentoring Program called (HAMP) Hope Academy Mentoring Program. All children have the potential to succeed in life and contribute to society. However, not all children get the support they need to thrive. Many need more caring adults in their lives to offer guidance and friendship.

 The benefits of mentoring include:

  • Improving self-esteem;
  • Keeping young people in school;
  • Helping improve academic skills;
  • Leading young people to resources they might not find on their own;
  • Providing support for new behaviors and attitudes.

If you are interested in becoming a mentor, or to learn more about H.A.M.P. please call Mr. Anthony Cooper @ (901) 405-8449.
