Audio Technology (2-3 hours)

Learn about multi-track recording including setting up microphones, recording tracks, operating mixing boards, and mastering commercial tapes. Students also study the use of equalizers, compressors, consoles, and noise reduction systems.

Barbering I, II, III

Upon completion of course content and 1500 hours, students are eligible to take the state boards for a TN Master Barber License.

 

Cosmetology I, II, III (2-3 hours)    

Principles of Cosmetology and Design Principles of Cosmetology

Chemistry of Cosmetology

Upon completion of 1500 hours, students are eligible to take the state board exam for a Tennessee Cosmetology License.  Upon completion of 600 hours, students are eligible to take the state board for a Cosmetology Manicuring License.

 

               

Digital Art& Design (2-3 hours)

Students develop marketable skills by examining both the visual arts and the graphic design Industry. Students utilize industry standard technology such as state-of-the-art computer hardware and software to create advertising design, visual art, web design, photography, commercial art, and multi-media including video editing and animation.

Early Childhood Careers (2-3 hours)

Students prepare for employment in the postsecondary education in the early childhood and elementary education services industry.

 

 

Health and Medical Technology (1.0 hours each)

Health Science Education (1.0 hours)

Medical Therapeutics Honors

Medical Diagnostics Honors

Rehab Therapy

Maintenance and Light Repair

MLR. students explore career opportunities and requirements of a professional service technician. Content emphasizes beginning transportation service skills and workplace success skills. Students study safety, tools, equipment, shop operations, basic engine fundamentals, and basic technician skills.

 

Culinary Arts I, II, III (2-3 hours)

Culinary Arts program prepares students for the food service and hospitality industry.
