Literacy Luncheon

Read! Read! Read!

During students' lunch time on the Friday after Grandparent's Day, students brought one of their favorite books with them and were able to spend time reading, once they were through eating.

Grandparent's Day Lunch

Oakshire hosted a Grandparent's Day Luncheon for our students' families. Grandparents were treated to a tasty lunch and got to spend quality time with their grandchild(ren). To top things off, Ms. Golden gave away goody bags to several lucky grandparents!

Our 2015-2016 Open House was held September 10, 2015. Our new principal, Ms. Gloria V. Golden, had the opportunity to meet, greet, and mingle with parents, after parents met with their child's teachers in the classrooms. Refreshments were served to end the night. Welcome to Oakshire, Ms. Golden, as well as all of our Oakshire families.
