OUR MISSION

The mission of Ross Elementary is to provide a secure atmosphere that empowers each student to develop the academic and social skills necessary to become responsible, productive citizens.

 

OUR VISION STATEMENT

 

Our Vision for Ross Elementary is for all children to become high achieving, well-rounded citizens that appreciate and respect themselves and others.  Our children will be prepared to emerge as lifelong learners and productive contributors to a diverse society.

 

OUR BELIEFS

We Believe:
  • All students can learn when provided with a safe atmosphere.
  • Children learn best when high expectations for student success are supported by a balanced curriculum and demonstrated through differentiated learning.
  • Learning is best accomplished in an environment characterized by strong instructional leadership and a positive climate conducive to teaching and learning.
  • All stakeholders share the responsibility for the education of all learners.
  • Providing positive relationships that foster mutual respect among and between staff and students can nourish student's self esteem.
  • Collaboration and communication are vital to the educational partnership among parents, students, educators and all stakeholders.
