Congratulations to our Cross-Country Team on winning the City Championship for 2016!

The Whitehaven Boy's Cross Country Team's months of hard work paid off last night in a big way when they not only won the SCIAA AAA Championship, but did it with a perfect score of 15 points. This is the first city championship in school history for the boy's cross country team. Emmanuel Cullins finished first overall earning himself a gold medal and the MVP trophy. The boys will go on to compete at the TSSAA Region 8 Championships on Friday October 28th to fight for a spot at the TSSAA State Championships.

The Lady Tigers Cross Country team also won the SCIAA AAA Championship last night in exciting fashion. It was a three team battle between Central, Southwind, and our Lady Tigers but we fought hard and came out on top. This is also the first city championship in school history for the girls cross country team. Kintana Banks finished first overall also earning herself a gold medal the the MVP trophy. The girls will go on to compete at the TSSAA Region 8 Championships on Friday October 28th to fight for a spot at the TSSAA State Championships.
