NCAA Eligibility Requirements

It is the responsibility of the student-athlete and his/her parent(s) to
know the eligibility requirements of the NCAA; your Guidance Counselor
should be contacted if you have any questions about courses that you are
taking. There is also a bulletin board in the locker room area with
pertinent information on it. For your convenience, here is the website that
will explain eligibility rules, core course requirements, the GPA and
college entrance exam sliding scale, among other information you will need
regarding dates, deadlines, etc:

The State Board of education has recently implemented a new policy change which require that every athlete entering the 7th and 9th grade receive a complete well child checkup (also known as an EPSDT screen) prior to participation in sports. This change is effective for the 2008-2009 school year. These forms may be found at http://health.state.tn.us/sportsphysical
