Congratulations! The Houston Varsity cheer squad is the 2009 UCA National
Champion in the large varsity division. Houston Varsity Cheer also won
Nationals in the large varsity division in 2000 and 2001.

The Houston Junior Varsity Cheer Squad were National Champions in 1999,
2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007 and 2008.

Tryouts for the 2009-2010 school year are very soon!
Mandatory clinics are April 6,7,8 (6:30-8:30)
Tryout are April 10 at 4:30

Tryout packets are in the HHS front office as well as the front office of
each of the middle schools that feed into Houston High School. There is a
medical form that must be filled out by a physician so do not wait until the
last minute to pick up a packet.

Congratulations! The Houston Varsity pom squad placed 4th in Large Hip Hop
and 15th in Large Pom at the National Dance Team Championships in February.

Tryouts for the 2009-2010 school year are the week of April 13. Please call
the school office (756-2370) for more details.
