Shelby County Schools is offering a FREE learning academy for students in all grades during fall and spring break this year. Modeled after the highly successful Summer Learning Academy, the new Spring Break Learning Academy will
give thousands of students an enriching academic experience March 16-18. The program will be offered at 16 schools across the District (see list below). Spaces are limited, so make sure you plan to apply early to have the best chance
to reserve a spot for your student.
ACADEMIES BEGIN MARCH 16.
Elementary and middle school sites will offer students a full day of stimulating literacy and math lessons and activities.
At the high school level, students will have half-day sessions focusing on ACT prep activities, which is just in time for the April ACT testing date. Meals and extended day learning is available
for elementary and middle school students, and meals are also FREE for all students.

9 a.m. – Noon (High)
Extended Day: (Elementary & Middle Only)
7 – 8 a.m. & 3 – 6 p.m.
*Transportation is not provided

Students have to be registered in an SCS-managed school to attend the Spring Break Learning Academy. Spaces are limited, so apply early to have the best chance for a spot during spring break!
