Student Registration

OUR NEW INFOSNAP ONLINE REGISTRATION SYSTEM MAKES IT QUICKER & EASIER TO REGISTER THAN EVER BEFORE!

Whether you are a returning student from the previous school year or brand new to Shelby County Schools, your enrollment begins by registering online. By replacing previous paper registration practices with the InfoSnap online registration process, we are improving accuracy and efficiency and, most importantly, saving parents time! Parents can register online for their child’s zoned school or an approved transfer location.

Returning Students

Students who were enrolled in an SCS school on May 22, 2015 or later will register online as a returning student.

NOTE: If you have changed addresses since last school year, you must verify your new address at your zoned school or approved transfer location.

Every returning student requires a registration SNAPCODE to register online. If you have more than one child returning to SCS, you will receive a separate SNAPCODE for each child.

New Students

Students who have never attended an SCS school will register online as a new student.

NOTE: After creating a new account and completing the initial online registration process, parents of ALL new students must finalize their registration and verify required documents in person at their zoned school or approved transfer location.

Required Documents & Transportation (ALL K-12)

Proof of Residence & Immunization Requirements All students are required to submit two approved forms of proof of residence. Proof of immunizations is also required for certain grades.

NOTE: Documents can be scanned and attached to the student’s registration during the online process from your personal device or by using a scanner in schools.

Transportation
Students who live beyond the Parent Responsibility Zone (PRZ) (1.5 miles for elementary schools; 2.0 miles for middle and high schools) are eligible to ride an SCS bus. Transportation is not provided for students on an approved school transfer.

BUS ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR REGISTERED STUDENTS BEGINNING JULY 22.

NOTE: New students and students whose address has changed since last school year must verify transportation eligibility at their assigned school after registering.
