Shelby DEBATE Society (SDS) invites you to witness the exciting 2014 high school debate championship tournament. The County Championship will take place at White Station High School on Friday, February 28, at 5:15 p.m. and Saturday, March 1, at 8:15 a.m. During the championships, four Shelby County representatives will be selected for this year's National Association for Urban Debate Leagues’ (NAUDL) Championship Tournament, taking place on the campus of Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.

The WolfPack Playhouse at Cordova High School continues its 2013-2014 theatre season withUrinetown: the Musical. Urinetown, a Tony Award-winning musical satire, is a hilarious tale of greed, corruption, love, and revolution in a time when water is worth its weight in gold. The Overton High School CAPA Drama Department, under the direction of Mr. Chad Hoy, presents their 2014 spring play, 12 Angry Jurors, on February 27-28 and March 1 in the Overton High School auditorium. During the Info Session, prospective students and their parents can tour the STEM Academy at Southwind High School and ask questions about the STEM program. Projects and presentations will be featured from students currently enrolled in the STEM Academy.
