1:1 teacher device closeout : As you prepare for end-of-year closeout, Principals are reminded that many teachers have received their 1:1 teacher device. These devices are now part of your school’s inventory.
The Division of Virtual Education & Logistics recommends that each building leader collect all 1:1 teacher devices as a part of the end-of-year closeout process and safely secure them for the summer. During summer break, teachers often receive promotions, transfer schools, or leave the District, and devices are often not returned.
Lastly, remember that devices are assigned to specific positions. If a person with a device vacates their position, the device left behind should be reassigned to the incoming person filling that position in the fall.
Should you have questions, please reach out to Mrs. Lisa Fletcher at fletcherl1@scsk12.org.
Greetings Principals,
The Office of School Operations is available to support leaders during the summer months. If any question or concerns arise, please contact Director, Dr. F. Kevin Malone at malonefk@scsk12.org and Assistant Superintendent Reggie Jackson at jacksonrd@scsk12.org.
